The Access Group, a mid-market IT software provider, has acquired Abintegro, a privately-owned career development and digital learning technology company, for an undisclosed sum.
Abintegro provides technology-based solutions to half a million users across the UK, Australia, and New Zealand, enabling HR consultancies, academic institutions, and employers to support the career development of students and workers.
The latest addition to the Access Group portfolio expands the company’s ability to reach organisations across the globe.
Dean Forbes, president at Access People, said: “The addition of Abintegro into the Access Group’s HCM portfolio not only continues our strategy for enabling organisations to power success through people, but also offers us the potential to offer individuals everywhere the freedom to design their career development.”
The deal comes as Access has announced an adjusted EBITDA of £109m for FY20 ended 30 June.
Tony Heard, CEO at Abintegro, spoke of the “whole new level” of opportunity the acquisition brings the firm, also highlighting the benefits provided by “remarkably similar” business philosophies.
